Herring Run Junior High School class of 1963:
In September 1960, students started the school year at the new
Herring Run Junior High School, even though the building was still
under construction. Twelve seventh grade classes were housed on
the second floor of the Frankford Elementary School.
Construction of the Herring Run Junior Hich School building was
completed in January 1961. Eighth graders from Hamilton and Woodburne
Junior High Schools were added in the new building. The first students
to complete all three years at Herring Run graduated in June 1963.
